  • What is the Chinese medical philosophy behind the 5 elemental teas?
We’re glad you asked! Here’s a quick breakdown: At the heart of Chinese medical philosophy is the belief that everything in the world, including seasons, elements, humans, and life, is interconnected. The Five Elements serve as the foundation for the connection between people and nature, explaining who we are, why we are, and helping us become who we are going to be. As imbalances in any of the elements can create a ripple effect, disrupting the cycle of harmony, it is crucial to maintain equilibrium as much as possible in our lives. Traditional Chinese Medicine seeks to promote this balance and harmony by addressing imbalances within the body, mind, and spirit, using practices such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, and dietary therapy. By understanding the interconnectedness of the Five Elements and working with them, we can promote overall health and well-being and achieve a sense of harmony with the world around us. We're here to help you begin your journey towards a healthier lifestyle with the perfect first step - incorporating our tea into your daily routine!
